THE UW WAY

The Definition

The UW Way is how an artist exists in the world. Not to produce occasional great works, but to practice realness, boldness, and expression daily so creativity flows naturally and actually matters to people.

The Belief

We’re all artists. Not by talent or profession, but because we all exist to create from our truest selves. That’s what we hope people feel when they wear UW.

The Pillars

  • Expression Made VisibleEMV
Your expression is not too much

The Transformation

The world doesn’t need another person being small. It needs you — the fully unapologetically and fully expressed you.

Jackie Van Ooteghem

"We dance to feel free and express ourselves. Our clothing should do the same. Most clothing available feels generic, disconnected, or not fully 'us.' For years, I struggled to find pieces that reflected who I was as a dancer or the creative, growth-minded WCS dance community I'm proud to be part of.

So I created Unbound Westie because we deserve clothing that feels as real, bold, and expressive as we are, on the floor & in everyday life. Clothing that means something, for a dance community that does too.

What we wear is deeply personal—it's a reflection of our identity and the message we choose to share. That's why I believe UW pieces are the tools, and dancers are the transformation.

Thanks for being part of the UW Way."
