The UW Way is how an artist exists in the world. Not to produce occasional great works, but to practice authenticity, boldness and expression (ABE) daily so creativity flows naturally and actually matters to people.

We're all artists. Not by talent or profession, but because we all exist to create. That's what we hope people feel when they wear UW.

Jackie Van Ooteghem

"Most clothing available to us feels generic, disconnected, or not fully "us." For years, I struggled to find pieces that reflected who I was as a dancer or the creative, growth-minded WCS dance community I'm proud to be part of.

So I created Unbound Westie because dancers deserve clothing that feels as authentic, bold, and expressive as they are, on the floor & in everyday life. Living as an artist is a daily practice of showing up as your true self. Every time you choose to be who you really are, your creativity comes with you — and your artistry flows naturally.

UW pieces are the tool that removes the gap between who you are and who the world sees. Dancers are the transformation as they open to a truer, freer way of being.
